How to Install python-mrjob software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-mrjob software package provides MapReduce framework for writing and running Hadoop Streaming jobs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-mrjob

python-mrjob is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-mrjob package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-mrjob *

You will get with python-mrjob package name, version, architecture and description in a table
